Hi! I am Sarah Ostresh (saucestresh) - an illustrator and scientist. I recently received my PhD in physical chemistry from Yale University where I studied materials useful for solar energy applications using terahertz (THz) spectroscopy. I now work as a senior scientist at OPI, where I combine research of materials and consumer insights to develop innovative nail products (like OPI RapiDry™!). I began combining my passions for art and science in graduate school, creating fun and educational scientific art. At OPI, I also create technical drawings to illustrate the science behind nail polish. Find my published scientific illustrations here.
